Thanks for being in our lab!

Now that we will again part ways, we wanted to quickly tell you what we can still do for you moving forward, and ask you a few questions about your experience.

What can you still expect from us?

  • You’re of course always welcome to visit us again, to have a chat about your future plans, or join for a sushi Friday. We’re big on informal mentorship, so do not hesitate to reach out (just contact the person you worked with, or shoot Lea an email).

  • We can provide a “Zeugnis” to anyone who did an internship in our lab. This is a document to prove you were here, when you were here, and your tasks in lab. The document is drafted by our administration, and you can provide them with a list of the things you did (e.g., you can mention coding or presenting experience, data collection, lectures you attended, that you worked in the English language, etc.). Please also add the exact dates you were in the lab for. This letter will be handed directly to you.

  • We can provide a letter of recommendation when you apply to a specific position. Letters of recommendation are different from a “Zeugnis”, in that this is an evaluation of your performance in lab. To write a good and customized letter, please give us details about the position you are applying to, and why you believe the skills learned in our lab are relevant (so we can emphasize that for you). This letter will only be sent to the place you are applying to (and not to you directly).

What can you still do for us?

  • Tell us how we did! Please take a few minutes to fill out the form below, and we do our best to integrate all your feedback. Providing your name is optional, but please note that because we don’t have that many interns, strict anonymity is not something we can guarantee
